“Steve is downright funny. We saw him at the Parthenon. He actually made my fellow stoics bend over in laughter despite their ill-fitting togas.”
- Aristotle
“Steve’s material spoke directly to the pain points that we all go through in PR industry but never had the guts to mention. My face actually hurt after his set.”
- Donna Reade, PR Week

About Steve
He’s risking his life climbing mountains, challenging himself to run marathons, driving around in a BMW M3 and engaging in inappropriate conversations with young ladies attending his comedy shows. Who is he? Steve Cody, the midlife crisis comedian. Yes, Steve regales audiences with his take on everything from small talk and little people to airplane travel and legalized prostitution. World weary, but still a world-beater, Steve appears regular at The New York Comedy Club. Steve studied comedy at The American Comedy Institute. He’s performed at the New York Comedy Club, The Laugh Factory and Stand-up New York as well as various industry trade shows and conferences. He’s also studied improv with the Upright Citizens Brigade and performed at the UCB theatre. When he’s not performing on stage, Steve can occasionally be found managing a `public relations firm called Peppercomm, which he founded in 1995 and named after his Black Lab, Pepper. Pepper, btw, had no sense of humor and found Steve’s comic remarks both glib and superficial.
